Comedy.com Pranks Nabisco And Gets Free Ham

Tuesday September 22, 2009 12:28 PM

We here at Comedy.com like to prank people and by “people” we mean faceless corporations too big to notice a joke email.  This week we took on the Nabisco Corporation (and inadvertently Oscar Mayer, both are owned by Kraft).  Our blogger, Tony DiGerolamo, posed as Comedy.com friend and spiritual adviser Pastor Dom Moccey.  Dom is having a problem following a recipe on the back of a box of Ritz.  Check out our email exchange.

Original Letter: Tony, as Dom, explains the problem.  Apparently, he’s never had to deal with shaved ham.

Response: Here is the actual response Tony received from the Nabisco office.  Wow, the customer service sounds really sorry.  Naturally, he psyched about the free ham.

Our Follow Up Letter: Tony remembered that he forgot to call himself “pastor” in the first letter.  We thought this revelation would be funny to the cookie people. It’s weird. We haven’t heard back.

We love pranks here at Comedy.com, and we plan on doing more of them.  Do you know someone we should prank? Do you have a great prank you would like us to do on a public figure? Leave it in the comments below or email us at contact@comedy.com.  We would want to hear from you!

Posted by Tony DiGerolamo, who checks his mailbox every day for free ham anyway.
